Forklift Technical Competition

At 10:00 am on October 10, 2024, the fifth forklift competition initiated by the Safety Department opened. The participating units are the production department, storage department, and equipment department.
There are 2 projects in this competition, and a total of 30 people participated in the competition.
Before the competition, Zhang Yongbo, the company's safety director, made a brief speech and explained the rules of the competition. He also invited the warehouse supervisor to drive a forklift to demonstrate the competition project on site, and then the competition officially began!
Project 1：Stable Line Competition
Put 4 bottles of mineral water on the 4 corners of the pallet. The contestant operates the forklift to move forward 50 meters, bypass an obstacle and return to the starting position. The one who does not fall and has the shortest time wins.
Project 2：Stacking Competition
The contestant operates the forklift to stack the paper barrels with a diameter of only about 10cm and a height of only about 25cm one by one, and requires 5 layers of stacking, and the upper and lower layers must not be misaligned by more than 1CM. This is a real test of the contestant's forklift operation stability and patience.
The competition was cheerful and enthusiastic. The contestants showed their smooth forklift driving skills, skillfully reversed, turned, and stacked paper tubes quickly, accurately, and steadily, winning the admiration of the contestants and judges on site.
After 4 hours of fierce competition, Yan Yonghui from the Equipment Department won the championship of the stacking competition, and Dai Guotao from the Warehousing Department won the championship of the stability competition.
The competition was a complete success!
